General information about Les Doyards
The bungalow park Les Doyards is quietly situated in the lake of Vielsalm (14ha). The 24 apartments (for 4 to 6 people) and 28 bungalows (for 8 people) offer a beautiful view of the lake or the pyramid.
Children can play and cycle to their heart's content as the park is virtually car-free. The park is easily accessible by car via the E25 or E42 but is also highly recommended for train passengers. The station is only 100m from the holiday park. The center of the town of Vielsalm and the many shops are within walking distance of the park.
The environment of Les Doyards is rich in excursion possibilities, sports infrastructures, and animations to everyone's desire. In winter - in snowy weather - it is the ideal area for skiing, sledding, and cross-country skiing.

The pedal boats are no longer allowed in 2017.
In the vicinity of the holiday park you have a large choice of sports activities: mountain bike (rental at 400m), horseback riding in Mont-Le-Soy, kayak on the Amblève, mini golf and of course winter sports: cross-country ski runs, alpine skiing in the Baraque Fraiture at only 15 km from the park.

Houffalize is a typical Ardennes village in the Ourthe valley about 25 km south of the famous La Roche-en-Ardenne. The famous 'Panther', the German tank that had the predominance on the British and American during the Ardenne offensive, still attracts many tourists to this picturesque town. In this region where forests and undulating meadows alternate, you can make beautiful walking tours. Some tips for excursions in the area: the dam and the lake of Nisramont (15 km), Bastogne with its 'Historical Center' and American memorial (19 km), the Luxembourg Clervaux (20 km), the tourist town of La Roche and -Ardenne (25 km) where you can do rafting, or Vielsalm (33 km) with nearby the game park 'Domaine du Monti'.
Vielsalm is beautifully situated in the rugged landscape of the High Ardennes, so that it offers ideal outdoor sports facilities. Bèche-Fa is an outstretched forest area where you can make beautiful mountain bike tours. In Mont-Le Soy you can go for horseback riding and cross-country skiing. The river Salm has a very erratic course and offers optimal opportunities for adventurous walks or hikes. Events are organized throughout the year, such as the Feast of Witches in July. You will find the Archéoscope du Pays de Salm, the Musée du Coticule (grindstone), and ostrich farm, Baraque de Fraiture with alpine, cross-country ski runs and snowmobiles. The famous waterfall of Coo with kayak possibilities is nearby.
