1. For each booking you make, we send you a confirmation with the name of the booked house, the arrival and departure data, the maximal capacity of the accommodation, the extra services (a.o. renting of child cots, sheets, animals, cancellation insurance…), the amount of the deposit and the balance outstanding.

2. When you make your booking, you must pay a deposit of about 30% of the total amount. If the total amount of you booking is lower than 125 Euro, it will be paid at one go.

3. If you cancel your holiday.
In case of cancellation following charges will be applicable:
Written notification to Ourthe & Somme more than 43 days before departure: 25 Euro.
42 – 22 days before arrival 25 % of the booking amount.
21 – 08 days before arrival 50 % of the booking amount.
07 – 01 days before arrival 90 % of the booking amount.
Day of arrival or no-show 100 % of the booking amount.
Since we incur costs in cancelling your reservation, we will charge you at least 37,50 Euro for each cancelled booking (even if percentage calculation is lower).
If you cancel a large accommodation (more than 14 persons) or a group stay in a holiday resort, charges will be as following:
Written notification to Ourthe & Somme more than 90 days before departure: 25 Euro.
90 – 60 days before arrival 25 % of the booking amount.
59 – 30 days before arrival 50 % of the booking amount.
29 – 01 days before arrival 90 % of the booking amount.
Day of arrival or no-show 100 % of the booking amount.
 
4. For each reservation, you can also book a cancellation insurance. This insurance is not obligatory but in case of cancellation no money will be given back if no insurance is subscribed. You can ask for this insurance when making a reservation, all persons mentioned on your booking confirmation will be covered by it.
Charges: 4% of the cost of your booking with a minimum amount of 15 Euro.
A document with insurance conditions and covered risks is at your disposal on demand.
 
5. If you change your holiday.
Any request of small changes such as the modification of a name, type of house in a holiday resort, extra booking of child cots, sheets, animals… will be charged 12,50 Euro (except for medical reasons). If the change is more important (departure date, change of individual accommodation or group bookings…), you’ll be charged 25 Euro.
 
6. If we change or cancel your holiday.
Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. In all cases we will offer you an alternative of comparable standard or period. In this case, you’ll always have the possibility to cancel your reservation and have a full refund of all monies paid.
 
7. Preferences.
If some preferences are required – such as for example bungalows close to each other or a specific bungalow of a holiday resort – and if these preferences a condition to make the booking, 12,50 Euro will be charged (except for medical reasons). In this case, the preference will be guaranteed. If a client doesn’t pay for a preference, this one will not be guaranteed but we’ll certainly take it into consideration if possible.
 
8. Some costs are not included in the amount of the booking. They are clearly listed and must be paid on your arrival. Tourist taxes are defined by local authorities and can thus be changed according to the new regulations.
 
9. Errata:
Ourthe & Somme has the right to communicate changes by ways of Errata that are immediately communicated to the client or travel agency. These changes will be transmitted to the client at least on the day of his reservation.
